After the early rains the weeds are now officially out of control. We are trying to minimize use of poisons for both the wildlife and the trees. In some areas though I think we are going to have to resort to spraying for the weeds in order to get control. The land was pretty heavily overgrazed so the explosion of growth is expected.

Some of the weeds are pretty amazing though and the insects are buzzing around much the better. We have thistle plants standing at around 5 feet.
