Old Farmhouse Renovation (2)

It may not look it but a lot has happened since last set of photographs were taken.

  • Central Heating was installed – Just imagine what it must have been like; no heating or cooling, no insulation and summers in excess of 105 degrees.
  • Plumbing
  • Wiring
  • Framework for hot water heater in place
  • Rework of ceilings
  • Rework of wall finish

Inspection of ground and underlying surface has passed with flying colors for both septic system and for new house – all good news.

Hopefully we will be digging the well soon and installing water system – this will start making quite a difference and in addition will allow us to hose down and clean Teryx, Mule and Tractor – it’s pretty dusty out there being so dry. Thank goodness for the little rain we have had.

Wow! What a fantastic property with so much potential!
It’ll be a labour of love but so worth it in the end!
Looking forward to seeing how things progress

Fortunately it’s still fun and not a chore! Been having great fun playing with the tractor. Mowed about 1.5mile trail for riding on.

Lovely to watch progress each time you go! That way you can keep tabs on the work, and have a wonderful record for ‘posterity! And change anything you ‘spot’ that isn’t correct.
