Looks like another successful breeding season and are starting to see baby turkeys (poults) around. I came across a hen and her poults near the pond – at first I didn’t see them and we all got quite a surprise as I stumbled on them, lucky they were just turkeys and not something with teeth or fangs. I’m guessing she had around 7 poults with her but it was really too quick to tell.

Bought and extra two bags of Milo today and filled the turkey feeder – I’m surprised how quickly the last lot of food went especially with the hens sitting on eggs.

The other morning I saw lots of ‘dots’ in the fields, all of them turkey – turkey everywhere, very COOL!
